ABOUT
THE WEBSITE
Origins
The purpose of this website is to explore a central theme present in many literary works: How character-defining moments occur at one's lowest point. The origin of "Origins" started as a culminating task for my grade 12 English course. Through examining literary works such as Hamlet, A Raisin in the Sun, and The Great Gatsby, just to name a few, Origins will explore in-depth a central theme present around the world. However, with time, I wish to expand the website to include further pressing topics in today's society. I plan not only to show who I am but to learn more about myself as well. And in the process, I hope my readers can learn a thing or two. If you are interested in the pivotal moments separating heroes from villains, take the time to check out any of my blogs. Enjoy!

THE BLOGGER
Andrew Nguyen
Hello readers, welcome to my blog. My name is Andrew Nguyen, a grade 12 student at Chaminade College School. Among other things, I am a pianist, almost completing my goal to earn my Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 Certificate. I am an avid chess competitor, earning to several top finishes, most notably at the Ontario High School Chess Championship. I plan to follow my passion for computer science and advance my education at the University of Toronto. With these blogs, I not only try to teach others about who I am but to learn more about myself.
