On the Road to Berlin

On the Road to Berlin is an account from Ernie Pyle's sights on the beach of Normandy hours after the initial invasion of D-Day. During one of the worsts periods in human history, many brave soldiers from across the world enlisted into the army. Millions of soldiers sacrificed their individuality and lives for the freedom and livelihood of others.
